Dervla graduated from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, Ireland, with a degree in Visual Communication. She has worked in the strategic branding field ever since. Dervla moved to San Francisco after graduation and worked at an award-winning studio for several years before starting her own practice. Dervla also studied in the first web design program in the U.S. — The Multimedia Studies Program at San Francisco State University. She created branding campaigns for many Silicon Valley startups during this time. Dervla re-located to New York and founded Rock Paper Pixel with Tod Wohlfarth in 2003.
Dervla was also a Visiting Instructor at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn for 7 years. After more than a decade in NYC, Dervla is now heading up Rock Paper Pixel’s brand new Berlin outpost!
Tod has over 20 years experience in the creative community. His first foray was in Hollywood in the field of film editing. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a major in Film and American Studies, he dabbled in club promotion, art events and event production before completing a graphic design apprenticeship under the tutelage of acclaimed designer Chase Watts (formerly of Tolleson Design, San Francisco). Tod jumped to the East Coast in 2001, working for a variety of studios and publications before venturing out on his own, founding Rock Paper Pixel with fellow San Francisco ex-pat Dervla Clarke.
When not pushing pixels around, Tod enjoys expanding his horticultural skills at his weekend home in upstate New York.
Randy trained in Silicon Valley, before moving to New York with his family. Randy brings his expertise with all manner of website programming to Rock Paper Pixel’s online projects. Clean code is Randy’s specialty. From Content Management Systems and E-Commerce functionality, to WordPress blogs and Email Newsletter campaigns, Randy ensures that your marketing materials look great and function smoothly. Randy also excels at the web marketing strategies required to maximize your website traffic and search engine rankings.
Digital Image Specialist/Music Composition
A native Californian, Jamie has over 20 years experience working with digital media, both audio and visual. Jamie uses advanced color-correction and retouching techniques to transform images for both screen and print, maximizing the visual impact of the images promoting your brand. He also has extensive experience as a music composer and producer, and creates original audio soundtracks for online and tv projects.
Benjamin Veronis is a graphic designer, specializing in corporate image, logo and website design. He began his career in fashion design, working for small and large companies in the fashion industry, ranging from his self-named couture line of clothing, all the way up to designing boyswear for the Gap.
He migrated to graphic design after his involvement with photo software development assisting companies such as Cad Tex and Lumina Arts with their photo manipulation software. Ben resides in Hudson, NY and Palm Springs, CA. His personal and consultant work can be seen at benveronis.com.
Christina Lynn Eggers
Christina has been working as a graphic designer since 2009. After interning with Rock Paper Pixel, Christina was asked to join us as a part-time junior designer assisting with our social media, internal projects, production and conceptual designs for client work. Christina also assists Mueller Recreational Products with their marketing and advertising and she somehow finds time to run her own body care business called Velvet Sensations. She has a beautiful 2 year old daughter named Aurora and a handsome husband, Justin!

Strategy & Positioning
Margaret Roach is a veteran journalist who was EVP-Editorial Director of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia before dropping out and moving to her rural garden to write books in 2007. She oversaw marthastewart.com, the company’s magazines and more. Prior to that she was an editor at The New York Times and also at Newsday. These days, besides focusing on her books and fast-growing garden website A Way to Garden, she consults with clients to help them find the “voice” for their brand; to package their content, and make it resonate. She specializes in publishing on the WordPress platform.
Michelle has managed brands for over 20 years – with 15 years in marketing for Procter & Gamble, Pepperidge Farm and Remy Cointreau and over 5 years as senior vice president for Sterling Brands, a leading brand strategy and creative agency in New York. At Sterling, Michelle focused her efforts on strategy, consumer insight, package design and trends for top tier food and lifestyle brands. Michelle currently operates her own branding consultancy offering strategy, positioning and market research.
Chris runs a development team, specializing in advanced website and application development. At the heart of Chris and his team’s approach is a dedication to research and discovery within emerging web technologies. They employ a modular and architectural programming approach. Rock Paper Pixel has worked with Chris on many complex website projects, including Open Source software applications, E-Commerce projects, Video enabled websites and much more. Chris and his team specialize in building custom back-end administration systems that our clients and their staff can use to update content and control many aspects of website functionality.
Charlie W. Denison
San Francisco Bay Area Creative Partner
After acquiring his B.F.A. from Missouri State University, Charlie made his way west, working with several highly regarded studios in San Francisco. His work has been honored by Communication Arts, Graphis, How Magazines as well as by the New York Art Directors Club, AIGA and is in the permanent collection of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Charlie heads up his own agency Civil Engine and represents Rock Paper Pixel on the west coast along with his highly skilled team.
Jen Maguire offers extensive experience in Public Relations and Marketing Communications for a wide variety of pop culture, lifestyle, consumer product, fashion, entertainment, media and B2B brands. Prior to launching her own firm in 2002, Jen’s in-house corporate experience included working with Revlon, Playboy Enterprises, BET Publishing, Primedia, and the Seventeen brand – including 200 live teen events yearly.
